Benoit Meleard is a French shoe designer, with lots of innovative ideas.
His first collection was in 1994, and he has worked for many big names, such as Alexander McQueen, Helmut Lang and Jeremy Scott.

His latest collection is based on architecture, and is said to be a tribute to the designer Beth Levine.

Manolo Blahnik said this about the designer:
‘I just adore that young Frenchman Benoit Meleard. His stuff is just so architecturally beautiful: it has a touch of weirdness.’

He seems to be one of the unsung heroes of the catwalk shows!
Its people like this that emphasise the importance of being creative! what a boring world it would be without the creatives!!
